Letter from A.Peel to Lord Penrhyn Stating that at a meeting with the Archbishop of Canterbury he had suggested arbitration by the Church. The Archbishop replied that whilst Lord Penrhyn had the "hand of steel" he did not have "the glove of velours." 9 January 1897
