Accounts of the St. Kitts estate between Lady Frances Stapleton with the firm of John Butler Particulars of goods exported, insurance premiums, bills of exchange and sugar sales. Many interesting items e.g. reference to a ship taken and re-taken in May 1742 (under credit account 1745-6); £4 12.0. received of "the porters of Bear Key [?Quay] for plunder of sugar" in 1746. The last account is signed by James Butler as executor of the deceased John Butler. January 1745-May 1755
