Copy will (made 28 July 1674) of Edward Kenrick of Gwersyllt in the parish of Gresford, cloth worker. Bequeaths to his wife Jane one third of his personal estate "and Forty shilling over"; to his son John £8; to his grand-child Ann, son of the said John, £3; to his daughter Elizabeth Robinson 5s; to her son Thomas 20s; to his son Daniel £10; to his daughter Martha £10 and the value of £5 in household stuff. Charges his two messuages or tenements in Wrexham with the sum of £80 for the payment of the above legacies, and for the payment to his son Samuel of £30 within 5 years of the testator's death, and for the payment of £50 within 5 years of the death of the said Samuel, to the latter's appointee according to his will. The said Samuel Kenrick is named sole executor and residuary legatee; Evan Rogers, George Jenkinson, Harry Jones and Phylip Rogers are named overseers. 29 July 1825
