Mc.Iver was rector of Lymm in Cheshire; his sister Margaret was the wife of the Rev. John Parry Jones-Parry, rector of Edern, who in turn was brother to the first Sir Love Jones-Parry, who died in 1853. The eldest son of the rector of Edern was William Corbett Jones-Parry, barrister-at-law, who is expressly named as one of the trustees of his uncle's will. 26 August 1864
