AdminHistoryAnne Warburton had been Anne W., one of the saughters of Sir Robert Williams of Penrhyn; Sir Robert, the baronet of Marl, was a descendant of the second branch of the Williams family of Penrhyn; the conclusion is that this lease with its accompanying release (which is not preserved), were some of the preliminary legal instruments which ultimately vested the Warburton moiety in the hands of the Pennant family.
