TeitlAssignments of the lease on a plot or field, parcel of Cae Bach in Hirael, parish of Bangor: original lease (2 Oct., 1806) by the Lord Bishop of Bangor [Dr. William Cleaver] to John Roberts of Bangor, gentleman, for three lives; assignment on 11 March, 1809, to Edward Griffith Roberts of Caernarvon, who was to hold it in trust for the aforesaid J.R. and Thomas Jones of Bryntirion; then on 13 Nov., 1820, these two assign the interest to Thomas Towers of Hirael, yeoman, for the purpose of erecting an iron-foundry there; references to a warehouse that J.R. had built and to the quay "now erected and built at Hirael". Term, 12 years; annual rent, £10.
