Disgrifiad | The first has something more than an echo of Paynter's irregularities: "The following sums of money returned by Mr.Paynter as Arrears for 1743 and before are left out of the Rental for 1744 [by Mr.Bridge] because Some of them are due from Persons long since Dead or gone off the Estate Insolvent and the rest are falsly returned". In the rental for 1744-45 is a disbursement of 17/- "by Pierce Ellis's Bill for making a Case for Archbishop Williams's Picture by Sir Willm Yonge's orders". |
