| Disgrifiad | This book contains details of the pensions and wages of various workers in the Penrhyn estate between 1st of April 1898 and 1st November 1966. There are many entries regarding pensions and many have been crossed off with writing over all the entries indicating that the pensions are cancelled and to see other folios. The book has entries for pensions for staff in various departments in the Penrhyn estate such as the building, gardens, woods and forestry, household, and game departments. As well as the Penrhyn home farm the yspytty estate. There are many entries that are crossed off and marked as cancelled as well as markings to indicate the death of the individual and the date. There are various papers that had been slotted into the back of the book and this has been placed in a file. These range between 20th of September 1950 to the 16th of August 1956. These papers include notes of pensions from various departments, letters from family members informing the estate office that a staff member has died, addressed envelopes and certificates of tax codes and deduction of income tax. |
