The letters discuss topics such as: the salary of the Yspytty schoolmaster, members of the school board, accepting the schoolmasters resignation and the local residents’ petition to keep this schoolmaster. This petition is included in this envelope, also there are discussions relating to the Yspytty Education Committee, Lord Penrhyn’s subscription to the Yspytty School, the visit of Mr L.E.Morris the assistant of the charity commissioners to hold a public inquiry into the charters of the parish, the census of the Yspytty church and a following newspaper cutting, from the Liverpool Courier, 05 January 1892, which gives R.M.edwards’ observations relating to the census of Yspytty church attendance and Lord Penrhyn’s influence on the Church.
