Disgrifiad | A book is about to be published giving account of the proceedings of the late quarry strike. As all the original papers are in Lloyd's handwriting he wishes to have the original copies returned to him so he can be prepared to meet any remarks which he thinks require an answer. The original copies of the documents were taken without his knowledge while he was away. He says Mr. Wyatt may retain copies of the documents but would be very much obliged if he could return originals to Lloyd.
Attached : 26 May 1875 - Reply from Lord Penrhyn at Mortimer House, Halkin Street to P.A.Lloyd. He has heard of the publication and is assured that there is no intention of making it an attack on anyone concerned. Mr. Wyatt does not have any papers of Lloyd's, as when the strike was over those papers were given to Lord Penrhyn, and he has them in his poseession. |
