Title
Bond of obligation in £40 by John ap Hugh ap William ap David of Tregwyrhyddion to Thomas Fletcher of Bangor, that the latter shall peacefully enjoy an occupy the messuages of Ty Hen and its appurtenant lands in Gwyrhyddion.
Description
The release bears the same date, with the same five witnesses. John ap Hugh signs as John Hughes on each.
On 25 May 1589, Fletcher bargained and sold the premises to Pierce G. of Penrhyn (see bond of obligation in £200, PENRH/350).
Also a bond by John ap Hugh (PENRH/351).

There is a clerical flavour about this doct., as Fletcher's father was registrar of the diocese in Bishop Bulkeley's time, while the first witness was Robert Morgan, vicar of Bangor at the time.
