| Description | There is no date, but a critical note on the margin - "I do not fynd this note [i.e., rental] so perfect .... nor beneficiall as [Sir] Rice Gruffith's rent rowle" - seems to place it after the death of Sir Rees in 1580, while the appearence of Edward ap William Roger as tenant might at least take the date up to 1610. Possibly 1595 will be approximately correct. |
