| Description | This folder contains 8 letters relating to accounts and the Penrhyn Estate Quarry. There are two letters from Whinney, Smith & Whinney to Lord Penrhyn which state there are accounts of the Penrhyn Quarry and the Forestry Department enclosed. These are not present in the folder. There are also three letters from Alfred H. Richards, Esq., from Port Penrhyn to Lord Penrhyn regarding various reports and accounts. There is a letter from a Mr. Spedding who states that he has been offered another job and would like to request a billet. This is followed by a letter stating the plans for portions of the Penrhyn to be sold presumably from Lord Penrhyn, the letter hasn’t been addressed to anyone or signed. At the end of the folder is a typed page with details of money left by Lord Penrhyn to erect various Memorials. |
