| Description | This folder contains many letters relating to the staff pension scheme at Penrhyn Quarries Limited. There are mainly letters between Mr. J.C.Douglas Pennant and the solicitor Bailey, Savin and Co. Topics discussed are executing the Deed of amendment for the staff pension trust, changes to rules and the staff pension scheme, draft rules and a supplemental draft of the trust deed for approval.There are many handwritten notes and copies of letters sent. There are also a few booklets included relating to the staff pension scheme such as a booklet called, ‘Rules for the Penrhyn Quarries Staff Pension Scheme’, another called, ‘Staff Pension and Life Assurance Schemes Penrhyn Quarries Limited’, this is followed by a revised edition of this booklet ‘effective from 30th December, 1966’. |
