| Description | This folder contains a collection of letters relating to the Abbeyfield Bangor U.C.N.W Society Limited who provide supported living accommodation for the elderly. The letters included are mainly between Mr. Pennant and the Society. Topics discussed are notices of meetings, register of committee members, monitoring visit report and Elm Bank a sheltered housing offering 8 flats in Bangor. There are notes and copies of letters sent also included. There are also many documents, including agenda of meetings, minutes of meetings two or three times a year for the years 1982, 1938 and 1984. Other documents include, ‘Annual inspection of Properties at Elm Bank and Nant y Gro’, ‘Accumulated Fund, The Abbeyfield Bangor/UCNW Society Limited’ Balance Sheet 31st December 1979 and a Balance sheet for the 31st December 1982. There is also a ‘Report of the Auditors and an Income and Expenditure Account. There is also a copy of a letter from Buckingham Palace dated 04 August 1981 from Prince Charles thanking the Abbeyfield Society for their wonderful wedding present. |
