DescriptionThis includes letters between various correspondents, for example: A.J. Melville, Samuel Shortridge, Charles A. Hore, Geo. McGrath and Lord Penrhyn. They discuss various topics for instance: bank bills, a new road to be opened through the Kupius estate by the Parochial Authorities of Clarendon, the rent of the Denbigh estate, there are also extracts of minutes, newspaper cuttings and printed material relating to the affiliation of the Jamaica Jockey Club and the Jockey Club of England. There are also correspondence included relating to the squatters at the Pennants estate and this is followed by a plan showing the extent of the land taken by the squattersfrom a survey of H.E. Upton Esq. starting on 18 April 1921 and created by Ralph R Rickman F.S.I, Commissioned surveyor, May Pen, Jamaica.
