DescriptionPlas Acton cannot be let (because of the proximity of the brickworks and coal-boring) and is rapidly deteriorating; their brother Percy is to live there on agreed terms; it must not be left empty any longer, and did not get a single bid at the sale in 1903. In July 1906 he enthuses over a meeting at which [Joseph?] Chamberlain spoke...Austen and Miss Dundas were there, also Neville, Beatrice, Mrs Endacotte and two young Miss Chamberlains; "others present included Wm. and Archibald Kenrick; Kitty is to allow Minnie £10 p.a. in Sept 1911; he writes about the pedigree of their branch of the James family.
