TitleLetter from Norman Tucker to R. Metcalfe of Upton
DescriptionConcerning a "Cromwell Room" at Wynn Hall. N T thinks it unlikely that Cromwell ever visited N. Wales, though Maj-Gen. Thos. Mytton did. Old Kinmel Hall also had a like-named room, where Col Sir John Carter is said to have entertained the Protector. Also enclosed are 2 cuttings - one relating to the above, and the Parliamentary bombardment of the Dee coast; and the other concerning a press photographer of Pen-iss-dre [sic for Penisa'r-dre], Prestatyn, taken prior to its demolition.
