Associated with this small notebook is a cutting from a local [Oswestry] paper of 1887, being a letter from Alfred N. Palmer of Wrexham, part of an ongoing correspondence concerning the ancestry and descendants of the Rev. John Kenrick of York, son of the Rev. Tim Kenrick of Exeter, and John Kenrick of Wrexham, J K's grandfather who married Sarah Hamilton, the heiress of Wynn Hall. A further note confirms this, and points out that Sarah Savage (who married J K of Wynn Hall, uncle of the Rev. T K was the great grand-father of Philip Henry) |
