Names his wife Elizabeth sole executrix and residuary legatee. A codicil dated 22 February 1714/5 is annexed, whereby the above devises of lands, etc, in Glyn Kyriog, Trevechan and Acton are annulled; niece Sarah Hamilton is to receive his present house, and the lands in Trevecan, "...provided she takes my wifes advise in her disposall of herself in marriage according to instructions left with my wife for that purpose"; if she does not, then the lands are to be sold and the proceeds to be divided among his sister Bird's children. His lands in Acton and Glyn Kyriog are to be sold, and the proceeds to be divided among the children of his sisters Kendal, Bird and Harris. |
