Description(unsigned) relating to certain paintings (which later hung in the hall at Wynn Hall, according to an interpolated line in a different hand) formerly at Gorsfield Lodge near Holywell, the home of S. Kenrick. The subjects of the paintings were : Rev. Archibald Hamilton and his wife, late of Corstofin near Eddingburgh [sic] (half-length); and their daughter, holding a spaniel in her arms (full length). It is noted that she was born about 1695, and married the Rev. John Kenrick, Minister at Chester Street Presbyterian Chapel, Wrexham, for "upwards of forty years". This Mrs. Kenrick died in Wrexham in 1775, aged 80 years.
