It was typical of her, that she should send immediately a cheque for £50 to cover postage and part of the cost of photocopying. This cheque was returned to her at once. The cataloguer has treasured memories of her as an indomitably brave and cheerful old lady, and counts himself very fortunate to have been privileged with her friendship. |
